About Apprentice Hub
Built by people who've been through it. Made for everyone who's about to.
Apprentice Hub was created by current and former degree apprentices at some of the UK's leading employers—people who remember exactly what it felt like to navigate this process without the right support.

Our story
Degree apprenticeships at competitive employers are genuinely hard to get into. Thousands of applicants. Multiple assessment stages. Processes that vary significantly between employers and industries, and very little reliable, consolidated guidance on how to navigate them well.
When we went through it, we leaned on each other. We shared notes on assessment centre formats. We practised interview questions together. We figured out what mattered and what didn't, mostly by making mistakes and comparing notes afterwards.
“We built the resource we wished had existed when we were applying.”
Apprentice Hub is what we built with that knowledge. It's a platform that consolidates everything students need in one place: real roles, structured preparation resources, and a clear way to stay organised across a long, often stressful application cycle.
The guidance here has been carefully compiled from direct experience across finance, technology, law, consulting, and engineering—and structured to be useful regardless of which industry or employer you're targeting. We're not affiliated with any employer, and we don't make promises about outcomes. What we do promise is practical, honest support for every stage of the process.
What makes it different
Not another job board. Not another generic guide.
Built from real experience
Every resource on this platform was shaped by people who've been through competitive degree apprenticeship applications at major UK employers across multiple industries. Not theoretical—practical, stage-by-stage guidance based on what the process actually involves.
Cross-industry, not employer-specific
Guidance here covers patterns and frameworks that apply across finance, technology, law, consulting, engineering, and more. It's deliberately designed to be useful regardless of which employer or sector you're targeting, because the fundamentals transfer.
Independent and honest
Apprentice Hub is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or funded by any employer. We list roles for informational purposes using publicly available information. We don't guarantee outcomes. We tell you what we know, and we're clear about what we don't.
Our principles
How we make decisions
Every feature, every piece of copy, and every resource on this platform reflects a deliberate set of decisions. Here's what guides them.
Preparation over promises
We never tell you that using this platform will get you an offer. What we do is give you the clearest possible picture of what each stage involves, so you can prepare effectively and go in with realistic expectations.
Free to browse, always
You should never have to pay to understand what opportunities exist or how the application process works. Browsing roles, reading guidance, and understanding the process is free. Premium resources are optional preparation tools, not gatekeepers.
No pressure, no judgement
We don't frame rejection as failure. We don't use urgency language to pressure you into acting. Most successful applicants receive multiple rejections before securing an offer—this platform is designed to support you through that reality, not pretend it doesn't exist.
You're in control
Your application tracker is yours. Statuses are set by you, not inferred by us. Your preparation progress is private. Nothing on this platform makes assumptions about where you are or where you should be.
What's coming
We're still building
Apprentice Hub is actively developed. Here's what we're working on next, and where your suggestions could make the biggest difference.
Employer-specific preparation guides
Tailored guidance for specific assessment centre formats and interview approaches used by individual employers across finance, law, technology, and consulting.
Deadline alerts and email reminders
Opt-in notifications when roles you've saved are approaching their closing date, so nothing gets missed during a busy application cycle.
Application cycle analytics
A personal summary of your application cycle—stages reached, preparation progress, and a clear record you can reflect on after each cycle.
